DVA Productions presents Grandma's Place. A heart-warming
story about a young man struggling with his identity sent to live
with his grandmother. The two of them form a strong bond and
learn things about the other that they would never have taken the
time to learn had they not been forced into this situation. The
show examines the issues of social acceptance for urban teens by
their peers and society. It also bridges the gap between
generations using music, dance, and poetry.
It targets middle and high school students and deals with issues
they face daily. The show is designed to entertain them with the
latest music and dances, and educate them through creative arts
and simple, yet effective "life lessons".
